Alumina catalyst АОК-78-61 is used in Sulfur Recovery Units (SRU) as active bed support. Applied in refining and petrochemicals, gas plants and metal manufacturing.

АОК-78-61 ensures catalytic activity and unlike inert ceramic balls used as a bed support, provides an extended service life of the catalyst bed. More than 20 years of commercial experience.

АОК-78-61 active bed support is available in spheres with diameter 8-10 and 10-17 мм.

Application

The catalyst is used to improve gas distribution in reactors, operates as a support layer and also as a catalyst for sulfur manufacturing. Catalyst АОК-78-61 can be loaded as a support bed into all SRU compartments (Claus process).

It is recommended to use alumina catalyst AOK-78-59 or titanium dioxide catalyst AOK-75-46 as a base catalyst.
